If you have not practiced in the past two years, you need to go through a period of supervision, and you cannot apply if you have not practiced in the past five years. Hospital positions require at least a year of relevant experience. A Basic Life Support Certificate is a must-have for all nursing positions. Nurses require fellowship in a relevant professional body and a bachelor's degree/nursing diploma unless otherwise stated. ADON position requires a Master's degree. You need to prove your expertise according to the position you apply for.
If you have not practiced in the past two years, you will be required to go through a period of supervision. To earn a license, you need a fellowship from a professional body, and MD or equivalent degree from a recognized university. You need two years of experience in Tier One. You will also have to prove expertise based on the position you apply for.

A basic BSc. degree in Pharmacy from a recognized college of pharmacy is a minimum requirement while a Pharm D degree is preferable. You need to hold a current National License and need to prove your experience according to the position level you are applying for.
Specialist physicians can apply for the HAAD specialist title after getting qualified for MBBS or MBChB from a recognized Medical school or College of Medicine and should complete it along with an additional three years of post-qualification experience if the qualification falls in tier (3). Tier (1) or tier (2) requires no post-qualification experience.

Conditions to Start a New HAAD License Procedure
- Non-UAE nationals with a gap of more than five years, and UAE nationals or the children of women with a gap of 10+ years aren’t eligible to apply for the license.
- Healthcare professionals with a gap in medical practice of more than two years should Follow CPD (Continuing Professional Development) or CME Continuing Medical Education) requirements.
- UAE nationals with an interruption in clinical practice due to the mandatory national services of the country are eligible to apply for the license.
- The eligible nationals should submit a family book to prove genealogy.
- For HAAD license applications, surgeons should provide an official log list that includes the surgical procedures done over the past two years.

- Submission of request: You can submit the request in one of the two ways. Create a UID on the Department of Health (DoH) user management system. Otherwise, you can go to the data flow website and submit the documents necessary for the primary source verification.
- Verification notifications: Receive notification upon the completion of the verification process.
