Key Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of surgeries related to the gastrointestinal tract, including laparoscopic and open procedures.
- Conduct surgeries for conditions such as colorectal cancer, gallbladder diseases, hernias, ulcers, Crohn’s disease, and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure patient recovery and rehabilitation.
- Evaluate patients’ medical histories and symptoms to diagnose gastrointestinal disorders.
- Recommend appropriate treatment plans, including both surgical and non-surgical options.
- Work closely with gastroenterologists and other specialists to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Ensure that patients receive optimal care by explaining the nature of their condition, the surgical procedures, and any associated risks.
- Educate patients and their families on lifestyle changes, medication adherence, and preventive care.
- Maintain accurate patient records, including pre-operative assessments, surgical notes, and follow-up reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, hospital policies, and ethical medical practices.
- Follow proper infection control and safety protocols within the surgical environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution, followed by Specialisation and residency training in general surgery and a fellowship in gastrointestinal surgery.
- Experience: Minimum 4-7 years of experience in performing gastrointestinal surgeries, with a strong background in both open and minimally invasive techniques.
- Proficiency in advanced surgical techniques (laparoscopy, robotic surgery, etc.).
- Strong diagnostic, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle emergencies.
- High level of manual dexterity and precision.

- Competitive salary package ( AED 65K to 75K AED), commensurate with qualifications and experience.
