Key Responsibilities – Sports Medicine
- Diagnose and manage sports-related injuries and musculoskeletal conditions, including acute and chronic presentations.
- Provide non-surgical treatment plans, including rehabilitation protocols, physiotherapy coordination, and return-to-play strategies.
- Perform clinical assessments, functional evaluations, and movement analysis for injury prevention and performance optimisation.
- Deliver injection therapies (e.g., corticosteroid, PRP where applicable) under appropriate clinical guidance.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Develop and oversee injury prevention programs for athletes and active individuals.
- Provide pre-participation screening and fitness assessments for individuals and sports teams.
- Educate patients and athletes on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term musculoskeletal health.
- Participate in clinical governance, quality improvement initiatives, and patient safety programs.
- Maintain accurate and compliant electronic medical records and clinical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with UAE healthcare regulations, ethical standards, and hospital protocols.
