The successful candidate will be responsible for the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of neurological disorders, ensuring high-quality care and optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities – Neurology
- Diagnose and manage neurological disorders, including stroke, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, and neuropathies.
- Provide acute management of neurological emergencies, including stroke and seizure disorders.
- Conduct detailed neurological examinations and clinical assessments.
- Interpret and utilise neurodiagnostic tests, including EEG, EMG, nerve conduction studies, and neuroimaging.
- Develop individualised treatment plans for patients with acute and chronic neurological conditions.
- Manage headaches, movement disorders, neurodegenerative diseases, and neuromuscular conditions.
- Collaborate with neurosurgeons, intensivists, physiotherapists, and rehabilitation teams for comprehensive patient care.
- Participate in stroke programs and multidisciplinary case discussions.
- Provide patient education and counselling regarding neurological conditions and long-term care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and electronic medical records in compliance with UAE healthcare regulations.
- Participate in clinical audits, research activities, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Ensure adherence to international neurology guidelines and patient safety standards.
Qualifications & Board Recognition
